Ibiza Revival at The Shoulder of Mutton: How Our Village Pub Became a Club for One Unforgettable Night

It is not every day that a country pub in Calverton turns into a full-on Ibiza-style club, but that is exactly what happened when ARKO and Stu brought their Ibiza Revival experience to The Shoulder of Mutton. As the creative force behind Ibiza Revival, they transformed our familiar local into something extraordinary – a night of lights, beats and pure Balearic energy.

From the moment they arrived, it was clear this would be no ordinary event. Decks were set, lighting installed and the pub was reimagined as a place where people could let go, dance and feel the spirit of Ibiza without leaving the village. Before the music began, The Brothers Supper served a Balearic-inspired menu that set the tone for what would become a very special evening.

As ARKO and Stu opened the night with their signature Ibiza Revival sound, the atmosphere shifted instantly. Guests who usually join us for a quiet pint now found themselves stepping into something bold and exciting. Phones lit up, conversations paused and the room moved in unison as the journey through Ibiza music began.

We were also lucky to welcome two outstanding special guest DJs. Mark Kenton took the controls with a seamless set that lifted the energy even higher, followed by the legendary Ashley Kellett, whose trademark sound brought the house down and had the dancefloor packed from the first beat to the last. Each DJ added their own style to the night, creating a musical progression that kept the whole pub alive.

What made the evening so memorable was the mix of people it brought together. Long-time club lovers danced alongside locals who had never experienced anything quite like it. Friends reconnected on the dancefloor, and new memories were made to tracks that defined summers gone by. The pub felt transformed – but it also felt more connected than ever.

By the time ARKO and Stu returned for the final Ibiza Revival set of the night, the place was electric. The Shoulder of Mutton had become a true club space, even if only for a night, and the energy was something none of us here will forget.
