Today, The Shoulder of Mutton is owned and run by the award-winning duo behind The Brothers Supper who bring their chef-led approach, passion for seasonal ingredients, and creative flair to classic British pub dining. It’s a place where thoughtful cooking meets the warmth of a village local.

Why Locals Love Us
This was superb, booked online and informed of an allergy I had, they called me back to confirm it would be safe which i really appreciated. Had the Sunday lunch, HUGE portion and really reasonable, lovely atmosphere for a slow and easy Sunday dinner. Staff were lovely, perfect cosy pub, what a great way to celebrate a birthday :)

What an absolute find! Had lunch with a friend, wow! I think I have a new favourite restaurant. I had their signature lamb, I don't think I picked my knife up once. So tender, well seasoned and super tasty. Fine dining at its best, we will definitely be back 😋 highly recommended!

Went here for Sunday lunch on my birthday with a group of 14, and it couldn’t have been better. The roast was exceptional: perfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and generous portions. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making us feel really special. Everyone at the table said it was one of the best roasts they’ve had, and for the quality, it was very reasonably priced. A real hidden gem - highly recommend!
